Bernice Manuel

Bernice Manuel, 62, died on Oct. 23, 2010.
The wake will be tonight at San Lucy Catholic Mission. Funeral Mass will be celebrated there at 7 a.m. Saturday by the Rev. Dale Jamison. Burial will be in Pioneer Cemetery.
Ms. Manuel was born on Jan. 23, 1948, in the Gila Bend area and was a daughter of Jose and Josephine Manuel. She was a receptionist and worked for Human Services of the Tohono O’odham Nation. She enjoyed crocheting and making horsehair baskets.
Survivors include three daughters, Marian Manuel, Darla Guillen and Yolanda Manuel, all of San Lucy; two brothers, Gerald Mike and Leonard Manuel of San Lucy; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
