Bernita Faye Williams

Bernita Faye Williams 69, of Stotonic passed away June 27, 2023, in Gilbert, AZ. She was born November 8, 1953, to the late Thelma Allison and Clarence Stone in Sacaton, AZ. 

She enjoyed visiting, talking and laughing with family and friends. You could always find her at Goodwill or going to yard sales. Every fall she was ready to watch the Cardinals play during football season. She spent most of her time with her grandchildren. She worked as a housekeeper most of her life. She worked at Motorola, Gila River Casino, then onto work for the Gila River Indian Community for 16 years before retiring in April 2019. She was a caring mother not only to just her children but her family, friends and anyone who she came across. She had a big heart and was always willing to lend a helping hand. 

She is survived by one brother Melvin Allison, two sisters Lolita and Dorita Allison. Her son Newlyn Sunna and two daughters Jernell Williams and Marshalene Sunna; two stepdaughters Angelene and Shawnee Sunna. 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She is proceeded in death by her son Lydell Williams and a daughter Shaynna Williams.

Wake services will be July 6th at District 4 Multipurpose Building in Stotonic, AZ at 6pm. Funeral services will take place on July 7th at Santan Assembly of God Church at 6am. The burial will be at Lower Santan Cemetery.
