Bertha Ybarra Casillas

Bertha Ybarra Casillas, 56, of Coolidge died July 6, 2007 at Desert Terrace Nursing Center in Phoenix.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud Coolidge Chapel. The funeral there will be at 8 a.m. Thursday, with Pastor Joshua Ibarra officiating. Burial will be in Valley Memorial Park.

Ms. Casillas was born June 6, 1951 in Atascosa County, Texas. She was a homemaker and a happy person. She enjoyed cooking tamales, baking, visiting, reading her Bible and playing Mexican bingo. She was a member of Center of Worship and helped within the church.

Survivors include three sisters, Juanita Valencia and Mary Trevino of Coolidge and Aurora Galan of Phoenix, and a brother, Jesse Ybarra of Blackwater. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Susana Ybarra, in 2006, and her parents, Tomas and Angelita Ybarra.
