Betty Ochoa

Betty Hernandez Ochoa, 72, a Casa Grande resident and native, died on June 14, 2011, at Hospice Family Care.
Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday at Trinity Southern Baptist Church. The funeral will follow at 10. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.
Mrs. Ochoa was born on April 28, 1939, and was a daughter of Jose Hernandez and Maria Lopez. She was a member of Nueva Vida de Cristo Church and was a pastor for eight years. She was a Christian for 30 years and witnessed to people. She enjoyed cooking, listening to Christian music, singing and reading the Bible. She loved to watch TBN channel and would open her house to anyone in need. She was known as Nana Betty and loved listening to her grandchildren sing Christian music to her.
Survivors include two daughters, Martha Ochoa-Aguirre and Becky Ochoa-Martinez of Casa Grande; five sons, Reymundo H., Ralf H., Raul, Roy H. and Ronny Ochoa, all of Casa Grande; two sisters, Josephine Pena of Casa Grande and Rosie Flores of Tucson; two brothers, Freddy and Richard Hernandez of Casa Grande; 43 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ramon T.; a son, Raymond H. Ochoa; and three brothers, Ruben, Nacho and Jesse Hernandez.
