Betty Jane Robison

Betty Jane (Nissen) Robison of Casa Grande, AZ passed away Saturday November 16, 2024 at her home surrounded by loved ones. Betty was born March 25, 1939 Neligh, Nebraska to Milton G.P. and Beryl Maxine (Good) Nissen and grew up in Sidney. She graduated from Chadron State College with a teaching degree. Betty was married on July 2, 1960 to Keith Lee Robison who passed on in 2011. 

Betty was a school teacher for over 35 years and loved to share the gift of knowledge. As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints for over 60 years, she served in various positions including Family Search Consultant and organist. Betty loved music, sewing, baking, reading and spending time with her grandchildren. 

She is survived by Siblings: William & Suzanne Nissen of UT, James Nissen & Droni Chiu of CA, JoAnn & Dan Pierce of AZ and Carol & Larry Sorenson of AZ. 

Five Daughters: Laurie & Rick Miller of Casa Grande, Linda Freidel of Casa Grande, Lisa & William Hewitson of San Antonio TX, Brenda Adler of Sundance WY, Elizabeth & Thomas Van Asma of Grassy Butte ND. 

Fourteen Grandchildren and Sixteen Great Grandchildren — Amanda & Damian: Easton; Tyler & Amber: Aiden, Mallorie, Brielle, Bryson, Mazie; Jared & Chelse: Viviana, Raylan, Rex; 

Tawnya & Edward: Aviyana, Mikayla; Anthony: James, Jazmine; Justin & Maria: Gabriel, Cassiel, Asher; Christien Blake; Jonathan; Caleb; Matthew; Christopher & Ashley; Lia; Zachary; and Andrew.
