TUCSON - Beverly Ann Perez, 76, of Tucson died on March 19, 2016, at Banner-University Medical Center Tucson.
Mrs. Perez was born on Feb. 17, 1940, in Salt River and was a daughter of Isabelle and Fred Osife. She was an adult caregiver and loved to shop at secondhand stores, go to casinos, spend time with her family and watch movies with them. Every Sunday she would cook dinner for the family, and she opened up her home to everyone. She loved to garden and plant flowers.
Survivors include her husband, Jesse Perez; five sons, Louis Romero Sr., Michael Tillman Sr., Richard and Rudy Romero, all of Tucson, and Angel Romero of Phoenix; five daughters, Cecilia Romero, Angelia Huerta, Norma Wiskia and Gloria Garcia, all of Tucson, and Melinda Romero of Green Valley; a sister, Arlene Harrison of Tucson; 26 grandchildren; and 64 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Ray Romero Sr. and Alfred Romero Sr.; two brothers, Cecil Terry and Milton Manuel; a sister, Cecilia Valdez; and a granddaughter, Lena Romero.
Visitation will be from noon to 4 p.m. Thursday at the Perez home, 702 E. 32nd St. in Tucson, and continuing after 6 at the District 4 Service Center, Gila River Indian Community. The graveside service will be at 7 a.m. Friday in Day School Cemetery.
