Beverly Marie Daukei, 50, passed away on Tuesday, August 19th, 2014 with her husband and children by her side. Beverly was born on June 29th, 1964 to the Gerlaugh family in Lawton, Oklahoma. She spent her youth as an Army brat before eventually settling in her ancestral home,
the Gila River Indian Community. There, she worked for nearly 15 years in tribal government. She was a devoted and caring mother as well as a supportive and loving wife. She was an active member of the Native American Church and the community. She was known for her ever flowing
generosity, kindness and faith, as well as her infectious happiness. Her door was always open, and her table was always full. She could often be found in her garden, and loved traveling, spending time with family, and singing a little song to herself.
Survivors include her beloved husband, Waldo Daukei Sr.; her treasured children, Sarah and Leonard Bruce; and her older siblings, Darrel, William, Susanna and Richard Geraugh. She is also survived by her nieces, LeiAnn, Ashlie, Cierra, Jenna and Jeanette Gerlaugh; nephew, Trenton
Freeman; as well as her cherished grandchildren, Aria Marie Bruce, Ramon and Haralyn Valencia, in addition to many extended and adopted family members.
