William Henry Bomhoff “Bill” Brodersen, 83, of Casa Grande died on Aug. 13, 2010.
Mr. Brodersen was born on Oct. 15, 1926, in Phoenix. He attended public schools and graduated from North Phoenix High School in 1944.
He was extensively involved in agriculture beginning in 1950. He farmed in Hyder, Eloy and other areas in Pinal County. He established chemical and crop dusting businesses due to his awareness of needs and concerns throughout the farming communities of Pinal County. His major goal in life was to help those around him to reach their highest potential.
Survivors include his loving wife, Rosa; a sister, Berta Antrim; two daughters, Mari V. Albig and Heidi B. Gold; a son, Blake Brodersen; two grandsons; one great-grandson; his adopted family, John Giuffre, Jose Miguel Jimenez, Roberto Jimenez, Ruben Jimenez; and he was “Tata Bill” to 12 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three brothers.
Services will be held on Wednesday at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Rosary will be recited at 9:30, and Mass will be celebrated at 10. Private burial will be at sunset in Eloy Memorial Park. A luncheon will be held after the services at The Property Conference Center.
Memorial contributions may be made to Boy Scouts in Casa Grande, FFA at Casa Grande Union High School or Pinal County 4-H clubs.
