Bill Sparks Jr., 48, of Casa Grande died Feb. 4, 2009 at Arbor House.


Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Kortsen Building. The funeral will follow at 11, with Bishop Steve Lannon officiating. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.

Mr. Sparks was born June 3, 1960 in Tacoma, Va. He enjoyed fishing, riding an ATV and yard work, especially gardening. He loved spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include two sons, William E. Sparks of Indiana and Christopher Sparks of Mesa; three daughters, Jennifer Sparks of Safford, Kristy M. Sparks of Mesa and Chelsea Sparks of Missouri; two stepdaughters; his mother, Darlene F. Sparks of Casa Grande; three brothers, Jerry Sparks of Sunizona, Richard T. Sparks of Casa Grande and Christopher E. Sparks of Fernley, Nev.; four sisters, Mary G.R. Lotshaw and Michelle P. Sparks of Mesa, Sandra "Bambi" and Wilma F. "Bunny" Sparks of Sunizona; and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Richard C. Sparks, and his father, William C. Sparks Sr.
