Billy Dean "Bill" Mcswain

CASA GRANDE - Billy Dean "Bill" McSwain, 69, died on May 28, 2020, at home in Casa Grande after a short illness.

Mr. McSwain was born on Sept. 22, 1950, to Billy and Camella McSwain in Florence and was raised in Stanfield. After graduating from Central Arizona College, he moved to Columbia, Missouri, where he received a bachelor’s degree from Stephens College.

Life then took him to Los Angeles, where he started a career in banking. After his marriage and son's birth, missing his hometown and family, he returned to Casa Grande in 1989 and opened McMashers Sports Bar & Grill. He loved Casa Grande, sports and being a small business owner. Charming, loyal, honest, handsome, generous and a wonderful father, he had many friends both in Casa Grande and around the county.

He is survived by his wife, Reggie; his beloved son, Michael McSwain of Casa Grande; and a sister, Cheryl Mashore of Casa Grande. He was preceded in death by a sister, Patsy Ritchey.

A celebration of life will be announced later.
