Bob Barnes

CASA GRANDE - Bob Barnes, 75, a longtime Casa Grande farmer, died on Jan. 18, 2016, at home.

The service will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Memory Gardens.

Mr. Barnes was born on July 13, 1940, in Los Angeles and was a son of Jimmy O. Barnes Jr. and Fannie B. Hood. He was a proud cotton farmer, loved it and worked until the day was done.

He was a member of Calvary Southern Baptist Church and Casa Grande Valley Elks Lodge. He enjoyed playing cards and traveling, but most of all he loved his family and friends.

Survivors include his wife, Janice E.; two sons, Steve Barnes of Casa Grande and Robert L. Barnes Jr. of Phoenix; a daughter, Karen V. Breuer of Virginia; a sister, Helen R. Frazey of Eloy; and three grandchildren.
