CASA GRANDE - Bobbie Forbis, 84, of Casa Grande died on April 2, 2016, at home.
Mrs. Forbis was born on Feb. 6, 1932, in Warren, Oklahoma, and was a daughter of Everet Brown and Wilma Lake. She was a school cafeteria manager and loved her family, quilting, knitting and camping. She played piano and organ at church, taught children’s church and loved all of the kids at school.
Survivors include two sons, Jimmie Forbis of Casa Grande and John Forbis of Gilbert; two daughters, Patricia King of Durango, Colorado, and Martha Holton of Lake Havasu City; three sisters, Carolyn Goodwin, Loretta Flowers and Brenda Vest; a brother, Clyde Ferguson; 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; a daughter, Linda Shronk; two sisters, Wanda Oldham and Elizabeth Menchio; and a brother, J.C. Ferguson.
The celebration of life will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Glad Tidings Church, with Pastor Roy Edwards officiating.
