CASA GRANDE - Bobbie Wade Ray, 73, of Casa Grande died on May 17, 2019.

Mrs. Ray was born in Crockett, Texas, on Nov. 23, 1945, to Walter and Sarah Colter, the first of 10 children. The others are Mae West of Tucson, Jewell Colter, Doretta Calvin of Casa Grande, Norma Alexander of Eloy, Doris Alexander of Minnesota, Mack Colter of California, John Alexander of Tucson, Earl Alexander of Minnesota and Alvin Alexander of Phoenix.

She enjoyed going on walks and spending time with her siblings, children and grandchildren. She loved eating her daughter-in-law Margaret's fried chicken.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roosevelt; a son, Randy Booth; a sister, Jewell Colter; and a granddaughter, Mankenzie. Survivors include eight adult children, Brendly Singleton of Phoenix, Timothy Ray of Tucson, Linda Ray of Glendale, Shannon Clark of Phoenix, Michael Thomas Sr. of Arizona City, Randy Booth of Eloy, Monica Broker of Mesa and Margaret Thomas of Arizona City; 17 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren.

Visitation beginning at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 24, at First United Methodist Church of Eloy. Funeral at noon. Burial in Eloy Memorial Park.
