Bobby Joe Lashley

ARIZONA CITY - Bobby Joe Lashley, 70, of Arizona City died on Aug. 22, 2016, at home.

Mr. Lashley was born on July 20, 1946, in Edmonson County, Kentucky, to Ollie and Elmer Lashley. He served in the Navy and was honorably discharged. He later was a working man with a deep love for his family. He had a caring heart and a keen sense of humor. Throughout his life he enjoyed fishing, cooking and sipping his coffee on the porch.

Survivors include a son and three daughters, Dave Lashley, Betsey Lashley, Misty Hoopes and Katie Lashley; two brothers, Wendell and Steve Lashley; three sisters, Betty Boehle, Ruby Schneider and Sherry Kuntzi; and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two siblings, Carldon and Emma Jean Lashley, and two grandchildren, David Lashley Jr. and Riley Lashley.
