Bonnie L. Hagee, age 91, died on Monday, September 6, 2021, at her home in Casa Grande, AZ surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Taft, California on December 4, 1929, to Walter and Lida Shell. Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and four sisters, husband, Billie Hagee, daughter, Carol Hagee, grand-daughter, Sheila Thompson, and granddaughter Latisha Robinette Boyd. She is survived by three daughters, Charlotte Stewart/Ronald, Cathy Tacker/Leonard, and Cindy Robinette/Travis as well as, nine grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and ten great, great grandchildren.
Bonnie was employed by the State of Arizona from 1958 to her retirement in 1988. She received the “Ann Kaiser Award”, as well as, “The Governor’s Award”, for her exceptional work with mentally handicapped children. After retirement, she continued her work with special needs children by serving as a member of the Human Rights Committee, ensuring that their health and welfare were top priority! She was respected and admired by both her colleagues and clients.
Bonnie enjoyed life to the fullest. Her love for family and her faith in the Lord were her greatest joy and testimony.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, September 11, 2021, at 12:00 am at Crossroads Church, 3151 N Piper Ave, Ste 101, Casa Grande. Viewing will be held September 11, 2021, from 11:00 – 12:00 am. Pastor Tim Hill will be officiating. Burial will follow at Mountain View Cemetery in Casa Grande.
