Brianna Clarice Littlestar Garcia

SANTAN - Brianna Clarice Littlestar Garcia, 17, of Santan died on April 4, 2014.

Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. today at St. Peter Feast House, with rosary recited at 6. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 8 a.m. Saturday at St. Peter Catholic Church by Monsignor Ed Meulemans. Burial will be in Snaketown Cemetery.

Ms. Garcia was born on Feb. 6, 1997, in Tempe. She was a student at Hamilton High School in Chandler and vice president of the Native American Club.

She loved her son, being with her brother and sister, and spending time with her family in general. A very outgoing person, she liked softball and volleyball and was an Arizona State and Raiders fan, a basket dancer and fancy dancer. She participated in the Unity Run.

Survivors include a son, Stylez J. Shooting Star Garcia of Santan; her parents, NealRay Garcia of Sacaton and Rosie Garcia of Santan; a brother, Jackson Garcia of Santan; a sister, Gabriell "Gabbie" Garcia of Santan; grandparents, Florene Havier of Santan and Jackie Garcia of Tucson; and a great-grandmother, Theresa Peters of Santan. She was preceded in death by her grandfather Eugene Garcia.
