Bruno Michael Stolc

Bruno Michael Stolc, 63, died Thursday, February 15, 2024, at home in Casa Grande, Arizona.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Linda (Roche) Stolc; his son, Anthony Roche; his mother, Christa Stolc; brothers, Stefan, and Richard Stolc; sisters-in-law, Gretchen and Jullie Stolc; daughter-in-law, Ivette Roche, and many close friends.

Bruno was born in Wiesbaden, Germany, and raised in Killeen, Texas. He is the son of Brunon Stolc and Christa Stolc. 

Bruno started a career in corrections in 1980 with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. After 17 years with TDC, he began a new career with CCA in 1997 as Chief of Security at the Houston Processing Center, he was promoted to Assistant Warden at the Lake City Correctional Center. Throughout his 27-year career with CCA now CoreCivic, Bruno was involved in various leadership roles which included serving as Warden at the Leavenworth Detention Center, Central Arizona Detention Center, Eloy Detention Center, and Red Rock Correctional Center, before transitioning to a support role working with Operations Leadership in the development of activation initiatives at La Palma and Red Rock. 

Bruno met the love of his life Linda in 1982 at a Bavarian restaurant and on their first date, he took her dove hunting, and the rest was history. Shortly after they were married on February 26, 1983. She supported his business efforts every step of the way. 

Bruno had a passion for supporting military veterans, serving as a member of CoreCivic’s Military Business Resource Group (BRG) and serving as VFW Post 1677 Auxiliary President in Casa Grande, Arizona.

He was an amazing husband, a great father, family meant everything to him, and a true mentor and friend to all.  

Celebration of life will be held at J.Warren on Saturday, February 24, 2024, from 1:00-4:00 pm. 525 N. Peart Rd, Casa Grande, AZ 85122
