SANTAN — Bryan Darrell Lewis, 45, died on Aug. 16, 2012, at Mercy Gilbert Medical Center.
Rosary will be recited at 5 p.m. Friday at the Jackie Lewis home in Casa Blanca, with a wake continuing at 6. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 6 a.m. Saturday at St. Peter Catholic Church by the Rev. Dale Jamison. Burial will be in St. Peter Cemetery.
Mr. Lewis was born on Oct. 25, 1966, in Sacaton. He was a farmworker at Gila River Farms and an Arizona Cardinals fan. He loved his family and helping them and was always smiling. He liked heavy metal music, especially Metallica, and liked to draw. He made people laugh.
Survivors include a son, Blair Parsons of Bapchule; two daughters, Cara and Kayla Lewis of Santan; his companion, Michelle Ramirez of Santan; his parents, Edward and Barbara Lewis of Casa Blanca; four brothers, Valentino and Enrique Lewis and Adrian and Patrick Johns Jr., all of Casa Blanca; and four sisters, Edwardine Lewis of Laveen, Tina Lewis Reyes Tapia of Sacaton, Jacqueline Lewis and Glenda Johns of Casa Blanca. He was preceded in death by a brother, Molino Johns, and a sister, Elizabeth Johns.
