BLACKWATER - Byram "Bye" Jackson, 66, died on April 10, 2018, in Blackwater.

Mr. Jackson was born on July 21, 1951, to Mildred and Erwin Jackson Sr. in Sacaton, the middle of three triplets. According to a Phoenix newspaper report at the time, triplets were considered even more rare among Native Americans than with other groups. He enjoyed landscaping, playing fast-pitch softball, listening to music and watching the "The Andy Griffith Show" and was an avid Arizona Wildcats fan.

He loved spending time with his wife, family and kids. He also enjoyed reading his Bible and daily devotions. He was a youth leader who enjoyed life and loved to make everyone laugh.

He is survived by his wife, Marleen; five daughters and a son, Janelle "Pumkin" Antone and Lynnelle "Squashie" Antone of Sacaton, Rachel Jackson of Santan, Trina Dash, Stephanie Jackson Valencia and Garrett Jackson of Blackwater; three siblings, Byron "Bie" and Danielle Jackson and Gina Enos of Sacaton; 13 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.

Wake service from 6 to 10 p.m. on Monday, April 16, at First Presbyterian Church in Sacaton, with a celebration of life following at the family home in Blackwater. Funeral at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, April 17, at First Presbyterian Church. Burial in Blackwater West Cemetery.
