Byron Donahue

SACATON - Byron Donahue, 65, of Sacaton died on April 10, 2019.

Mr. Donahue was born on Dec. 9, 1953, in Lawton, Oklahoma, to Byron and Rita (Redhorn) Donahue. A selfless man, he had strong family values. He was well known in the community as an advocate for children and families.

He was a strong believer in his traditions and valued his grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was a big Arizona Cardinals fan and loved playing pool and traveling to historic places.

Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Jennell; his mother; six adult children, Kutowyeah Donahue, Kehaulani Standingwater, Ruby Donahue, Amanda Mitchell, Patrick and Jeffery Lewis; five siblings, Cecil, Michael and Carl Donahue, Phyllis Parker and Cecilia Donahue-Cable; 16 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father and two brothers, Robert and Darrell Donahue.

Wake beginning at 7 p.m. on Monday, April 15, at the District 3 Service Center.
