Calvin Blackwater

COOLIDGE - Calvin Earl Blackwater, 64, of Coolidge died on March 11, 2015.

The graveside service will be at 6 a.m. today in North Blackwater Cemetery.

Mr. Blackwater was born on March 25, 1950, in Sacaton. An Army veteran of the Vietnam War and also a member of the National Guard, he was proud of having served his country. He worked as a stocker for Wal-Mart, was Presbyterian and was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars. He enjoyed collecting DVD movies, riding bikes and running half marathons.

He is survived by two sisters, Sandra Blackwater Johns of Stotonic and Bernadette E. Blackwater of Sacaton. He was preceded in death by a sister, Marjorie Weaver, and two brothers, Owen Blackwater and Eric Scoffer.
