Carlos Johnny Rodriguez Sr.

Mr. Carlos Johnny Rodriguez Sr., aged 56, a resident of Lower Santan, passed away on August 6, 2024. He was born on June 12, 1968, in Los Angeles, California, to Charlie and Claudina Rodriguez.

Carlos was known for his strong work ethic, particularly in the field of landscaping, a passion through which he displayed meticulous attention to detail. An individual who cherished the outdoors, he was described as a quiet, loving, and caring man who consistently prioritized the well-being of his loved ones. His kind and gentle demeanor coupled with his readiness to extend a helping hand whenever needed, earned him the reputation of a perfect gentleman. In addition to his dedication to his family, Carlos also devoted his time to volunteering at his local church.

He is survived by his children, Saralee Rodriguez, Maurice Rodriguez, and Carlos Rodriguez Jr., his mother, Claudina Rodriguez, as well as his siblings, Clara Gail Rodriguez, Debbie Rodriguez, Maria Ramirez, and Carmelita Williams. He also leaves behind three grandchildren to cherish his memory.

Carlos is preceded in death by his father, Charlie, a brother Charles M. Rodriguez, his maternal grandparents, Dora Miles and Harry Allison, his paternal grandparents, Clara and Charlie Rodriguez, and a grandson, Mauricio Rodriguez.

A wake in honor of Mr. Rodriguez will be held on Friday, August 16, 2024, commencing at 6 pm at the District Four Multipurpose Building in Stotonic. Graveside services are scheduled to take place the following morning at 5 am at Lower Santan Cemetery.
