Carmen Zaragoza Ruiz

TUCSON - Carmen Zaragoza Ruiz, 74, died peacefully in her home, with her children, on Jan. 4, 2020.

Mrs. Ruiz was born on Sept. 23, 1945, and was a daughter of Agedo L. and Carmen B. Zaragoza. She lived a life full of love and surrounded by family. She loved to listen and dance to music made and sung by her brothers and nephews as well as her second love, Elvis Presley.

She loved to bake and spend time with her kids and grandkids playing games, going to yard sales and watching game shows, soap operas, novelas and scary movies. She especially enjoyed traveling with her sisters and playing loteria, card games and telling old stories with all her siblings.

She is survived by seven siblings, Maria Vargas, Olivia Rodriguez, Agedo Zaragoza, Virginia Gallegos, Daniel Zaragoza, David Zaragoza and Ramona Zaragoza; three adult children, Veronica Castro, Ramon Ruiz and Eulalia Vazquez; and seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ramon.
