Carol A. Tierney

Carol A. Tierney, age 76, passed away peacefully on Thursday July 19th, 2024 at Banner Casa Grande Medical Center.  She was born on February 17, 1948 in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

On December 30, 1977 she married the love of her life, David Tierney, at Blessed Sacrament Church in Cambridge, MA.

Carol loved painting, adopting and caring for dogs and birds; camping; watching cooking shows ;gardening; swimming, board games, card games and family time.

She is survived by her beloved husband, David Tierney of Casa Grande; loving children, Melissa Tierney Adams (Gibran) of Methuen, MA and Rachelle Tierney of Casa Grande; grandson, Kai Xavier Adams, along with several cousins from the Schofield family and foster daughter, Julie Yeoman.  Also survived by long time friends, Lisa Keene-Gallagher; Linda Callahan; Carol Del Monte; Mary Laughton and Stephanie & Steve Cardillo all of Everett, MA.  Preceded in death by her mother Marion Della Piana and step-father William Della Piana.
