Carolina D'Souza

CASA GRANDE- Carolina D’souza, 83, of Casa Grande died on Oct. 22, 2015, at John C. Lincoln Hospital in Phoenix.

Mrs. D’souza was born on March 31, 1932, in Goa, India. She lived in Bombay (Mumbai), India, before moving to Casa Grande in 1990. She was a hardworking woman who loved Jesus with all her heart.

She loved cooking, gardening, grocery shopping and spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by five sons and daughters, Victor D’souza of Casa Grande, Sister Lourdina D’souza of India, Moses D’souza, Vona D’souza and Greta Edwards, all of Casa Grande; and nine grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Baptista D’souza; a sister, Beatrice Fernandes; and her oldest son, Frank Desouza.

Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Monday at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, with rosary recited at 10. Funeral Mass will follow, celebrated by the Rev. Ariel Lustan. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery. A dinner to celebrate her life will be at 6 p.m. at Glad Tidings Church.
