Carolina Virginia "Carol" Ayres

BLACKWATER - Carolina Virginia "Carol" Ayres, 68, of Somerset, Wisconsin, died on Nov. 10, 2018, at home.

Mrs. Ayres was born on March 18, 1950, in Picacho to Manuel and Ramona (Choyguha) Escarsega. She enjoyed reading, watching movies, writing in her journal, cooking, games of chance, nature, hunting, fishing and socializing with her family and friends.

Survivors include her husband, Richard A.; four daughters, Adrianne, Faith, Mary Jane and Sophia; three stepchildren, Rebecca, William and Cody; a brother, Luis; 23 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by eight siblings, Ralph, Manuel, Sergio, Michael, Olga, George, Andrew and Sylvia; and a granddaughter, Gabrielle.

Funeral at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 17, at Holy Family Catholic Mission in Blackwater, with all-night wake following. Burial in Blackwater Cemetery.
