Carolyn Dyer

MESA - Carolyn Ann Dyer, 70, died peacefully on Nov. 14, 2014, in Mesa.

Ms. Dyer was born on April 15, 1944, in Gallup, New Mexico, to Lonnie L. Brown and Lydia P. Cowart-Brown, the youngest of 11 children. She worked as a waitress for nearly 30 years and took great pride in her work. She caused people to smile and have a calmer, happier heart.

Survivors include a daughter, Tammy L. Richins-Downing; a son, Eric Dyer; a sister, Linda Horn; a brother, Lonnie Brown; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

A private service will be held in Gallup, where she will be interred by her parents and son Bobby Jo.

J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud Coolidge Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
