Carolyn Faye Hughes, 66, of Casa Grande died on Nov. 27, 2009, at St. Joseph’s Hospital & Medical Center in Phoenix.
The memorial service will be at noon Saturday at Casa Grande Valley Elks Lodge.
Mrs. Hughes was born on May 15, 1943 in Long Beach, Calif., and was a daughter of Perry and Oma Gragston. She was a medical secretary. She enjoyed her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved to sew, fish, play bingo, go to casinos and shopping. She enjoyed spending time with her friends at the Elks Lodge.
Survivors include a daughter, Kathy Roy of Chandler; a son, Perry Hughes of Casa Grande; and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis, and three sisters.
