CASA GRANDE — Carolyn Kay (Greenwood) Sharp, 71, died on April 30, 2022, in Casa Grande.
Ms. Sharp was born on Dec. 2, 1950, in Independence, Iowa, and was a daughter of Elsie L. Holmes and Lansing D. Greenwood. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry and worked at Motorola from 1977 until 1998 and then for Intel in New Mexico for two years.
She enjoyed sewing, reading, camping and gardening and was an advocate against abuse of animals and children. She was a resident of Arizona since 1975 and enjoyed her cat, Katerina.
Survivors include three adult children, Andrea Salsman of Phoenix, Randy Kimball of Sequim, Washington, and Tracy Belle of Independence, Iowa; two siblings, Duke and Doug Greenwood; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Diana Draeger, and a granddaughter.
Service from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, May 14, at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel.
