Carrie Karels

Carrie Karels 88, of Casa Grande died April 3, 2021 in Casa Grande. She was born August 8, 1932 in Eek, Alaska to Peter and Jane Cleveland. Carrie was an Alaskan Native member of the Yupik Aleut tribe. She loved to cook especially Native American dishes. She was a great seamstress who sewed by hand. She was a loving mother and will be truly missed.
She is survived by her children; Gloria Henderson of Casa Grande, John Karels of Oracle, Donald Karels and G. Karels of Alaska, her sister Edith Beebe of Eek, Alaska and many grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her brother Sam Cleveland.
