Cedar-Ray James Lloyd Etsitty

BLACKWATER — Cedar-Ray James Lloyd Etsitty, 37, of Blackwater died on Aug. 13, 2022.

Mr. Etsitty was born on July 8, 1985, in Fort Defiance. He went to school in Fort Defiance and Gila River Skyline School.

He enjoyed horror movies and his music. He was always helping others.


Survivors include his father, Cecil Etsitty of Fort Defiance; his mother and stepfather, Elaine Applegate Fletcher and Frederick Fletcher Sr.; three brothers, Sage Etsitty Sr., Frederick Fletcher Jr. of Blackwater and Samuel Fletcher Sr. of Springfield, Missouri; four nephews; four nieces; and one great-niece. He was preceded in death by grandparents Stewart and Claira Etsitty, G.H. and Josephine T. Applegate.
