Celestina Molina Linares, 80, a longtime Casa Grande resident, died April 7, 2008 at RTA Hospice House.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel. The funeral there will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, with Pastors Andy Combs, Pedro Cruz and Mauricio Uribe officiating. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.
Mrs. Linares was born April 6, 1928 in San Elizario, Texas, and was a daughter of Jesus and Tomasa Barron. She was a cook at Ochoa's Restaurant for nearly 30 years. She was a member of the Apostolic Church. She loved her family and was their matriarch. She loved to cook, especially tamales for her grandchildren. She also enjoyed gardening, being outdoors with her dogs and listening to the birds.
Survivors include her husband, Ramon; four sons, Arnold, Alfred, Anthony and Cruz Molina Jr., all of Casa Grande; three daughters, Tomasa Garcia and Isabel Hernandez of Casa Grande and Lupe Molina of California; 24 grandchildren; and 37 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Cruz Molina Sr.; three brothers, Inocencio, Ventura and Sotero Barron; and a sister, Rumalda Barron.
Memorial contributions may be made to RTA Hospice or Trinity Hospice.
