Charlene Christensen Kinser passed away April 9, 2017 after a brief fight with cancer.
By her side was her husband, Cecil. Charlene was born January 31, 1947 in Florence,
Arizona. She was a lifelong resident of Coolidge/Casa Grande area, and a secondgeneration
Arizona native. She attended Kenilworth Elementary School and graduated from Coolidge High School in 1965. She retired from Southwest Gas after 25 years of service. After retirement she
enjoyed shopping, baking, cooking, traveling, watching "Dancing with the Stars", home improvement shows and enjoying all her grandchildren. Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Cecil; her brother, Richard Christensen of Mesa, AZ; her sisters, Beverly Mendenhall of Glendale, AZ, Shirley Christensen of Glendale, AZ, Glenda Whisenhunt of Casa Grande, AZ and Janette Bivin of Boise, ID; her children, Brent Kinser of Casa Grande, AZ, Carla Kinser Hathcock of Las Vegas, NV, Cliff Kinser and Kelly Kinser both of Casa Grande, AZ; grandchildren, Jackson, Avery and Wyatt Kinser of Queen Creek, AZ, Matt Kinser of Buckeye, AZ, Ashley Finucane of Casa Grande, AZ, Brandon Biggs Kinser of Gilbert, AZ and Egypt Hathcock of Las Vegas, NV;
great-grandchildren, Grady and Cooper Kinser, Tucker Finucane, Declan Biggs Kinser and London Kurtagic. She is preceded in death by parents Hans and Nola Christensen; brothers,
Eddie, Hans Jr. and Ronnie Christensen. Services arranged with J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud, The Gardens Chapel. Visitation will be on Saturday, April 15, 2017 from 10:00-
11:00 a.m. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at Trinity Southern Baptist Church in Casa Grande, AZ from 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. with Reverend Phillip Calvert officiating. Burial to follow at Mountain View Cemetery.
