Charles A Roberts

MARICOPA — Charles A. Roberts, 80, of Maricopa died Sept. 17, 2009, at home.

A private service will be held later.

Mr. Roberts was born Aug. 28, 1929 in Plainview, Texas, and was a son of Charles G. and Lucille Roberts. He served in the Navy and was a plant supervisor in the natural gas business before retirement. He loved watching baseball and other sports and especially the Diamondbacks. He was in Casa Grande bowling leagues for many years.

Survivors include two sons, Charles H. Roberts of Arizona City and Billy Roberts of Mesa; a sister, Jean Meeks of Texas; two brothers, John Roberts of Arkansas and James Roberts of New Mexico; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Katheryn.
