Charles Wheeler

Charles Junior Wheeler, 78, of Casa Grande died on March 6, 2012, at Scottsdale Healthcare Medical Center.
The celebration of life will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Mountain View Chapel.
Mr. Wheeler was born on Dec. 19, 1933, in Wheeler, Texas, and was a son of Claude Wheeler and Allie Mae Burney. He played basketball at Casa Grande Union High School and graduated in 1951. He owned a car wash and was a Farmers Insurance agent. He enjoyed team roping, bowling and fishing and collected beautiful rocks. He loved riding his bicycle with his dog, CoCo, and loved life.
Survivors include a son, Charles J. Wheeler of Casa Grande; a daughter, Cathy Cloyd of Show Low; a brother, Herb Wheeler of Wickenburg; 12 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Lyle Wheeler, and a daughter, Linda Campbell.
