Charlotte E. Splawn

Charlotte E. Splawn, 85, of Casa Grande, passed away on Monday,
April 29, 2019. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Andrew Jackson Splawn III; her brothers, John of Springfield, Ohio, Raymond of Beloit, Kansas and William of Wichita, Kansas. She is survived by a sister, Loretta Fisher of Export, Pennsylvania;
brothers, Arnold Schmidt of Ave Maria, Florida and Leonard Schmidt
of Tiverton, Rhode Island; several nieces and nephews; and her
faithful companion and pet dog, Riley.
Charlotte was born in Beloit, Kansas on August 11, 1933,
the daughter of Valentine R. and Katherine M. Schmidt. She
attended St. John’s School in Beloit and graduated from Mount
St. Scholastica College in Atchison, Kansas with a bachelor’s
degree in Biology.
Charlotte was a faithful member of St. Anthony of Padua
Catholic Parish in Casa Grande.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass
9:30 a.m., Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at St. Anthony’s Catholic
Church, Casa Grande. Rosary to be recited at 9:00 a.m.
Inurnment will follow at 2:30 p.m. at the National Memorial
Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 North Cave Creek Road, Phoenix,
AZ 85024. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to J. Warren
Funeral Services, Cole and Maud, Gardens Chapel, Casa
Grande.
