Born in Casa Grande and grew up in the area, living in cotton camps and later in town after her father's death. She attended Eloy schools and married her high school sweetheart, Charles L. Anthony, in 1968. They lived in Pacacho, where countless children spent time dancing, laughing and eating delicious home made food. She was co-owner with her husband of C&C Auto Repair. She worked at the Thompson Company sewing factory until it closed and began working at Frito-Lay's plant in 1988. She was devoted to her family and was a champion of forgotten children of all ages.
