SACATON — Charlton Edward "Chuckles" Jackson, 58, of Sacaton died on Nov. 18, 2011, at home.
The wake will begin at 6 p.m. Friday at the District 3 Service Center. The funeral will be at 7 a.m. Saturday at Sacaton First Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in East Sacaton Cemetery.
Mr. Jackson was born on Oct. 4, 1953, in Sacaton. He was a heavy equipment operator. He liked sports, especially football, baseball and basketball, and was a Silver Gloves boxing champion. He liked to joke with his family and friends and also liked rock 'n' roll music and travel. He was an avid Oakland Raiders and Arizona Wildcats fan.
Survivors include a brother, Perry G. Jackson of Sacaton, and five sisters, Eileen Kyyitan, Edena Jackson, Anna Gonzales, Celia Ramos and Marla Pico, all of Sacaton. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward C. Jackson and Barbara J. Pratt.
