Charotte E. Splawn

CASA GRANDE - Charlotte E. Splawn, 85, of Casa Grande died on April 29, 2019.

Mrs. Splawn was born in Beloit, Kansas, on Aug. 11, 1933, and was a daughter of Valentine R. and Katherine M. Schmidt. She attended St. John’s School in Beloit and graduated from Mount St. Scholastica College in Atchison, Kansas, with a bachelor’s degree in biology.

She was a faithful member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Casa Grande. She enjoyed her faithful companion and pet dog, Riley.

Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Andrew J. Splawn III, she is survived by a sister, Loretta Fisher of Export, Pennsylvania; two brothers, Arnold Schmidt of Ave Maria, Florida, and Leonard Schmidt of Tiverton, Rhode Island; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, John of Springfield, Ohio, Raymond of Beloit and William of Wichita, Kansas.

The family will hold a memorial service in the future.
