Chester Bilmer "Junior" Miles

CASA BLANCA - Chester Bilmer "Junior" Miles Jr., 67, of Casa Blanca died on Oct. 10, 2015, at home.

Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday at the Miles home, 900 S. Orchard Road, with rosary recited at 6. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 7 a.m. Saturday at St. Peter Catholic Church by Monsignor Ed Meulemans. Burial will be in Vah-Ki Cemetery.

Mr. Miles was born on July 15, 1948, in Sacaton and was a son of Chester J. Miles Sr. and Albina M. Thomas. He was a farmworker and mechanic and loved listening to his radio when working on a car. He had many animals that he cared about, making sure they were well taken care of. He loved his family and especially his grandnieces and grandnephews.

Survivors include three sisters, Letitia M. and Loretta Miles of Casa Blanca and Lilla Miles of Ak-Chin; a brother, Vernon Miles of Casa Blanca; six nieces; five nephews; and many grandnieces and grandnephews. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Diane and Betty Ann Miles; a niece; and a nephew.
