Christine Karpelenia

Christine (Chris) Karpelenia, age 76, a 40 year resident of Casa Grande, passed away on Saturday October 5, 2024 at her residence.  She was born on December 28, 1947 in Newport, Tennessee to Steve and Nela (Ball) Walker.  

Chris married Michael Lee Karpelenia on June 9, 1984 in Heber, Arizona.  From this union they had three children; Keith, Kimberly and Regina.

She enjoyed sewing, canning, quilt making, gardening, fishin and huntin.  She also loved country music, especially songs by Dolly Parton and George Jones.  Chris was the greatest wife and mother.

In addition to being survived by her husband and three children, she is also survived by nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.  Chris was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister.  No services are planned at this time.
