November 22, 1940 — April 15, 2006

Born in Mammoth, AZ to Manuel and Francisca Zapata. He served in the military and was a self-employed musician, a drummer who played with Waylon Jennings at one time. He belonged to St. Helen of the Cross Church. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and worked on cattle ranches.
