Christopher Michael Johns

BLACKWATER - Christopher Johns, 47, died on April 22, 2016, at Hospice of the Valley Dobson Home in Chandler.

Mr. Johns was born on Oct. 31, 1968, in Sacaton. He was a very kind and quiet man who always had a big smile. He had lots of friends and enjoyed driving his truck and working with wood. He was an artist and could draw very well.

He loved to listen to music, and everyone loved being around him. He had several nieces and nephews whom he loved very much.

He is survived by a brother, Devin Johns, and was preceded in death by his parents, Ignacio P. Lopez and Carmen M. Johns, and three brothers, Julian, Richard and Pat Johns.

The wake will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Monday at the District 1 Service Center. The funeral will be at 7 a.m. Tuesday at Blackwater Presbyterian Church.
