Christopher B. Montez

Christopher B. Montez, aged 54, died on August 10, 2024 in Casa Grande. Born on July 17, 1970, to Eva Ramos-Rodriguez and Ruben Montez Sr., Christopher's kind and generous nature touched the lives of many. 

Known for his helpful spirit, Christopher found joy in assisting others. His love for the outdoors was evident through his passion for fishing, camping, and spending time by the lake. Family held a special place in his heart particularly his sons and daughters, grandchildren, and his beloved dog Blue. Christopher took pride in his body art tattoos and was fond of his pit bulls, roosters, and the meticulous care he took in ensuring his cars were spotless. He also found pleasure in holiday decorating and gardening. 

Christopher is survived by his mother, his wife Lynette Montez, eight children - Raven-Symone, Emmanuel, Maribel, Angelita, Miguel, Rosalinda, Meyia Montez, and Annabell Nuñez - and 17 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father, Ruben Montez Sr. A son, Vicente Marquez, and his brother, Ruben R. Montez Jr. 

A funeral service is scheduled for Friday, August 30, 2024, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Casa Grande. The visitation will commence at 9:00 a.m., followed by the Rosary at 9:30 a.m. and the Mass at 10:00 a.m. The burial will take place at Mt. View Cemetery in Casa Grande, Arizona.
