Christopher Narcia

BLACKWATER — Christopher Lydell "Chris" Narcia, 38, of Blackwater died on Sept. 8, 2011.
Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Thursday at the District 1 Service Center. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 6 a.m. Friday at Holy Family Catholic Mission by the Rev. Dale Jamison. Burial will be in Holy Family Catholic Cemetery.
Mr. Narcia was born on Sept. 11, 1972, in Sacaton and grew up in Blackwater. He was a construction worker, a hard worker and took care of his father before his death. He was involved in community activities such as traditional singing and sweat lodge.
He loved his children greatly, had many friends and was a good cook. He enjoyed music and playing dominoes.
Survivors include two sons, Nathan J. Narcia of Ak-Chin and Jacob Narcia of Blackwater; a daughter, Ilena M. Narcia of Blackwater; a brother, Richard Narcia of Sacaton; and two sisters, Marcella Narcia of Blackwater and Sheri Cassa of Sacaton. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert Narcia and Mary Antone.
