Cindy L. Miguel died on April 2, 2024, in Ventana at the age of 50. She was born on March 13, 1974, in Tucson to her parents Josephine Ann Miguel and Raymond Luz Sr.
Cindy was known for her skill in traditional basket weaving using horsehair and yucca. She loved listing to The Scorpions, spending time with her family, and found joy in assisting others whenever possible. Additionally, she had a passion for dancing to Chicken Scratch music.
She is survived by her daughter Ember Miguel-Cipriano, as well as her siblings Gloria Murrietta, Marie Luz, and Wayne Garcia and several nieces and nephews. Cindy is preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Chyanne Miguel-Cipriano, and siblings: Jason Miguel, Kristen, Chris and Raymond Luz Jr.
An All-night wake will take place on Friday, April 12, 2024, at Immaculate Conception Church in Ventana starting at 5 p.m. The burial service will be held on Saturday, April 13 in Ventana Cemetery on the Tohono O'odham Nation.
