Clairee Gail Rovie

February 21, 1933 — October 23, 2023

Bapchule

Clairee Gail Rovie, a remarkable soul of 90 years, bid her peaceful farewell on October 23, 2023, enveloped in the warm embrace of her cherished family at her residence in Bapchule. Born to the loving union of Jasper and Elsie Donahue on February 21, 1933, in Phoenix, Clairee's life was a testament to faith and devotion.

Throughout her days, Clairee embodied the virtues of a devout Christian woman. Her unwavering commitment to her beliefs served as an inspiration to all who encountered her. Her gentle spirit came hand in hand with a sparkling sense of humor that enlivened the lives of those around her.

A beacon of love and support for her family, Clairee nurtured deep bonds that surpassed time and distance. She held an unparalleled affection for her loved ones and found immense joy in their presence. Movies and books ignited a flame within her heart, and she crafted her own tales through captivating short stories.

Bearing a luminous intellect, Clairee's brilliance radiated through every facet of her life. A masterful player of the classical game Scrabble, she wove words together with finesse. Westerns and the legendary figure of John Wayne found a special place in her heart as she reveled in their timeless allure.

Clairee will forever dwell within the hearts of those she has left behind: her daughter Leslie Martniez, son Bruce Manuel, three adoring grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren with another eagerly awaited. While our sorrow is profound due to their loss, we take solace knowing that Clairee has reunited with her parents and dear son Robin Eric Manuel. Additionally, she joins her beloved siblings Doreen Leno, Byron, Bruce, Charlie, and Newell "Butch" Donahue who preceded her in death.
