Clara R. James

Clara R. James, 88, of Covered Wells died on August 12, 2023, in Tucson. Mrs. James was born on October 10,1934, to Rosita Miguel-Ramon and Brahis Ramon. 

Clara was always kind, generous, and caring, but outspoken. She was friendly and often made conversation with all she came across. She liked collecting rocks and loved to spend time with her family and grandchildren and loved to cook for them.   

She is survived by seven grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Felix James, a daughter Bernice Lopez, her siblings, Emiliano; Andrew; and Pancho Ramon, Rosemary Cruz and Alice Tashquinth and a grandson Luis A. Lopez Jr. 

An all-night wake will be on Sunday, August 20, 2023, Sacred Heart Parish in Covered Wells starting at 7:00 p.m.. Burial will be on Monday at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Covered Wells, Tohono O’odham Nation.
