Clarence Buchanan

Clarence Raymond Buchanan, 71, of Casa Grande died on Dec. 30, 2010, in Casa Grande.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel, with rosary recited at 7. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church by the Rev. Kevin Clinch. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.
Mr. Buchanan was born on March 27, 1939, in Meadville, Pa., and was a son of Victor and Sophia Buchanan. He had a career in the Navy, including service in the Vietnam War, and was a logistics specialist. He was a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and served as post commander in Maryland. He lived his life to the fullest and enjoyed traveling. He was known for his navigation skills on trips with his wife.
Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Carol M.; a stepson, Dana E. Burt of Bremerton, Wash.; and three grandsons.
