Clarence Celester Edwards Sr, 81, passed away on January 18, 2020. He was born on September 22, 1938 in Terrell, Texas to Henry and Jessie Mae Edwards. Clarence enjoyed spending time with family. He enjoyed camping, church and watching football. Clarence pastored from January 1970 to 2016 in the Casa Grande area. His church was Greater Evangelist Temple Church of God in Christ in Casa Grande.
Clarence is survived by his spouse: Betty Edwards of Casa Grande; his children: Clarence Edwards Jr (Wanda), Jerri Lynn Edwards Washington, Warren N. Edwards (Johnnie), Anthony Q. Edwards (Mary Ann) and Michael D. Edwards (Isabel) all of Casa Grande and Cynthia L. House (Alvin)of Laveen; eighteen grandchildren and twenty seven great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by three brothers and six sisters.
Visitation will be held at 1pm and funeral 1:30pm on Saturday January 25, 2020 at Trinity Baptist Church in Casa Grande. Graveside will be held at 3:30pm at Mt View Cemetery in Casa Grande.
